The pain seems insurmountable. It is not. Christ has suffered it and risen above it. He lifts us up where we belong, above the anger, resentment and hurt. He places us where He is. It is not a place we reach through our own goodness or power or effort. It is a place He secured for us. It is ours, and He wants us to be there more than we want to be there.
